Outdoor Play

At Brighter Futures Early Learning Center outdoor play is an essential part of your child’s day! Every child enjoys 30 minutes of fresh air daily in our safe, engaging play area featuring climbing structures and fun playsets. This time encourages physical activity, builds confidence, and sparks imagination all while promoting healthy development in a secure environment.

Field Trips

As part of our summer program, school-age children will occasionally enjoy supervised field trips filled with fun and learning. We encourage families to join their child on these adventures! Important Reminders: Permission Slips: A signed permission slip is required for each trip. Dress for Success: Please dress your child appropriately for the season. Comfortable walking shoes are a must sandals and flip-flops are not suitable for walking. Safety First: The safety of children and staff is our top priority. Proper seat belts and restraint systems will be used during all travel.

Community Guests

We love partnering with local community agencies to bring real world learning to our kids! Throughout the year, we create exciting opportunities for students to connect with experts and explore new topics. During Safety Week, law enforcement officers and firefighters visit to share important tips and inspire confidence in staying safe. We also welcome amazing guest speakers from Elmwood Park, who introduce our students to the wonders of wildlife and the importance of protecting endangered species. These experiences spark curiosity and help our children see how learning connects to the world around them!
